James J Odanga

Dr. James J. Odanga, PhD, is an entomologist with experience on how insects interact with biotic and abiotic factors. Dr. Odanga works at the Invertebrate Zoology Section of the National Museums of Kenya, in Nairobi. One of his key publications is entitled; ”Spatial distribution of Bactrocera dorsalis and Thaumatotibia leucotreta in smallholder avocado orchards along altitudinal gradient of Taita Hills and Mount Kilimanjaro”; an article in the Insects journal.

The National Museums of Kenya (NMK), established under the Museums and Heritage Act (2006), is a multi-disciplinary institution dedicated to collecting, preserving, researching, and presenting Kenya’s cultural and natural heritage.
